Hey, i'm searching for a power supply replacement for my Omen 17 Laptop. The one I have now is a really big and heavy one with 330W. This is ok at home, but I also use this Laptop often for work so it would be nice to have a smaller power supply when i'm traveling.

I don't know what I can use here. Can you help me with that?

If I may be frank, without any intended offense, I suggest either purchasing another AC adapter, 330 W (PFC, 4.5 mm) M34603-001 or sourcing a ultrabook.

There is only one power adapter listed as compatible with your Omen 17 Gaming laptop. It is a beast at 330W!

Smaller ones will not charge your laptop properly.

Here is a link to the Maintenance & Service guide for your laptop. See Chapter 3, page 19, table 3-3

There is no getting around the fact that your laptop is a gaming beast and has high power requirements.

The number of laptops  that require 33 Watt power adapters is quite small.
