I just received my HP Omni laptop and the Pen that came with it will not charge.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

 

  • When you connect the pen to charge, do you see any indicator light or notification on the laptop?
  • Are you charging it directly through the laptop’s USB-C port or using a separate adapter?
  • Have you tried more than one cable or port to rule out a connection issue?

Here are a few quick troubleshooting steps you can try in the meantime:

  • Try a different power source: Plug the charger into another USB port on the laptop or use a wall adapter instead of the laptop port.
  • Restart the laptop: Sometimes a fresh restart helps the system recognize connected accessories.
  • Update drivers and firmware: Open HP Support Assistant and check if there are any updates available for the pen or touch input drivers.
