On Victus by HP Laptop 16-e0xxx can I install 2666Mhz CL19 DDR4 RAM instead of 3200Mhz CL22 ?

Hi:

 

That's a hard question to answer because the product specs call for DDR4-3200 memory.

 

You have one of two possible outcomes:

 

1. The DDR4-2666 MHz works fine and slows down your PC's performance because the processor is designed to work with DDR4-3200 memory.

 

2.  The notebook will fail to boot up with DDR4-2666 MHz memory installed.

 

So, if that is the memory you have, feel free to install it and see what happens.

If you have not bought the memory, then I strongly recommend you buy DDR4-3200 memory to avoid any disappointments.
