Continuing issues from previous posts, after denying to repair my wife's laptop per "customer induced damages" they sent it back to me, the day we received back we got a call from the expediter assigned to our case and she stated they changed their minds and they want us to send it back and will repair it totally free, so they sent us another box to be shipped back to Ca. to HP service center. Now a week later we get a call stating they can not repair the laptop due a liquid spill on the computer, this was never mentioned when they inspected before, we stated we have never spilt anything on it and then they say well it must be from a high humidity environment as the insides are corroded. We never let our house get more 49% humidity. We are an old couple in our 70's with kids grown and gone, the laptop stays in one spot all the time. My feeling about this situation is HP put low quality components in these laptops ( I got a real good price on it) and just figured they would deny the warranty claims when they came in, the laptop should last longer than 5 months when it has a year warranty. Its now been since May we have been without our laptop and HP has spent lots of time and money ( boxes, shipping, multiple phone calls) trying to get out of fixing our laptop.
Thanks for listening.
