Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently replaced my battery with what I can only assume is a faulty battery. 24 hours later the "Q" key on my laptop's keyboard has randomly become unfunctional. The "Q" is the only key on the keyboard not working.  I have gone down the keyboard checklist:  reinstalled drivers, changed languages, changed keyboard setups, checked for driver updates, reboot, bios check, keyboard settings, malware check, cleaned keys, and cleaned the keyboard. Is it safe to assume the battery has caused this issue?

Not at all. Perhaps something was damaged in the process of replacing the battery but a faulty battery would not cause one key to stop working. Just because one thing happens after another does not mean the earlier thing caused the later.
