Product: HP Pavilion Gaming 15 (15-ec0xxx)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have 8 GB RAM Installed but only 5.88 GB is usable ,I tried all the methods shown in YouTube and Google but nothing as changed and the laptop automatically gets locked and laptop shuts down when games are played on high graphic settings, please help me to fix the problem ASAP.

Your notebook was intentionally designed that way.

 

HP released this document a while back, which explains the memory shortage...

This seems to only apply to various models with certain AMD Ryzen processors such as yours.

Info on Microsoft PlayReady.

There is no fix other than to install additional physical memory.

 

Below is the link to the service manual.

 

The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.
