I am trying to upgrade the memory and hard drive in my Pavilion Dv7-6b78us laptop. The Maintenance and Service guide shows a T-shaped "Service Cover" on the back of the laptop case, but my laptop has no such Service Cover. It has a one-piece bottom enclosure. I removed the battery, all 10 of the visible screws on the bottom enclosure, and the optical drive but the computer case still does not open to allow access to the memory and hard drive. Does anyone know how to open this style case?
