Need to know if there's an updated HP Smart Stream that fixes the vulnerability with OpenSSL

Hi @OSTREMO

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thank you for reaching out regarding the OpenSSL vulnerability reported in HP SmartStream. We understand the importance of confirming whether your HP SmartStream installation includes the necessary security updates.

To help us provide the most accurate guidance, could you please share the following details?

  • Which HP SmartStream product are you using (for example, HP SmartStream for HP DesignJet or HP PageWide XL)?
  • What is the currently installed HP SmartStream version?
  • Which operating system and version is the application installed on?
  • What is the OpenSSL version or CVE number identified by your security/vulnerability scanner?
  • Is the vulnerability being reported from a security scan, compliance audit, or another security tool?
  • If available, please share a screenshot or the exact vulnerability message reported.

Once we have these details, we can review the specific HP SmartStream release and determine whether a newer HP update addresses the reported OpenSSL vulnerability.

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
