Hey, anybody have any input, tips, tricks, advice, or just general intructions on how to get this notebook open (15-bs022ca) properly, without damaging it?
I've had a poke around it. Other than about 6 screws, and some plastic tabs in the battery bay, it doesn't look that straight forward.
Anyway, I'm looking to upgrade to an SSD and maybe throw some more RAM in there. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi,
Here is the service manual provided for your laptop:
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257
On page 49 you can see how o remove the base enclosure. There are screws under the rubber feet which you need to pry up a little to get to the screws.
On page 54 you can see the steps to upgrade RAM which is max 16GB of DDR4-2133Mhz (2x8GB). You can also use 2400Mhz sticks.
On page 56 you can see how to remove hard drive.
You can also take a look at these HP videos for your model which could help with any upgrades:
Let me know if you need any further help,
David
