Hi

I want to change the ram in my laptop. I have to remove the base. I have unscrewed the 7 screws but ham really struggling to pry the base from the rest of the laptop.

I have watched some videos online and they appear do do this with ease.

Has anyone got some hints or methods to help.

Thanks

Seems like there are some retaining hooks near the center of the base enclosure that require some extra effort to release.

Hi

You help is much appreciated.

I have removed the base, changed the RAM from 8GB to 16 GB reassembled and it all is working great.

Its fantastic to have expertise and help available in these support forums for inexperienced computer users like me.
