Hi, would like to ask how many slots for operation memory it has. Installed OM is 2 Gb. Want to add some memory. So if it has 2 slots, I could simply add 2 Gb. If only one slot - I'll need to replace it.

Hi:
Below is the link to the Crucial memory report for your notebook.
Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | hp - compaq | hp 15 series | HP 15-af002ur | Crucial IN
According to the report, it has two memory slots and the max you can upgrade to is 2 x 8 GB of memory.
Below is the link to the service manual.
HP Notebook PC (AMD)HP 255 G4 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide
The service manual also indicates that it has two memory slots and the max it can take is 1 x 8 GB in one slot or 2 x 4 GB in two slots.
What I recommend you do is to buy an 8 GB memory chip and add it to the 2 GB chip and have 10 GB in total.
In the outside chance there is only one memory slot, then you can remove the 2 GB chip and max out the memory to 8 GB.

Dear Paul. thanks a lot!
I couldn't find the number of slots in manual. it just says the way to replace a memory bar.
I'll try to open it myself and find out.
By the way, there is a problem occured. Windows 8 reference guide is appearing on the screen again and again -
as I would press F1 button all the time. I close this window, but it goes on. Could be some problem in contacts of this button?
