I have an HP Spectre x360 15-eb0053dx with the Intel Optane H10 SSD, which is a few months out of warranty. It is giving the message "Your Intel Optane memory module is starting to degrade. Please disable Intel Optane memory to avoid data loss." It looks like Intel has a 5-year warranty on the Optane H10 SSDs, even though HP only warranties the system for one year. Can HP help me with getting the SSD replaced? Also, it looks like the H10 series is discontinued by Intel. Is the H20 series compatible with this laptop?

Since the Optane module was included in the HP laptop it only carries HP warranty not Intel. The H20 would work fine or any other Optane module for that matter, being a small capacity NVME M.2 SSD. The prices have now come down to where you might want to consider just substituting a full sized (like 256 or 512 gig) NVME M.2 SSD and run the OS from it. Much improved performance. Post back with any other questions.

The current Optane H10 drive is 1TB NAND with 32GB Optane on-board, and requires processor, BIOS, and O/S support for the Optane caching. What I've read online is that the H20 drives require different BIOS support, and the 11th generation Intel processors. This notebook uses a 10th generation processor, which is why I am looking for information from HP to see if it can support the Optane acceleration built into the H20 drive. If it just uses the NAND portion of the drive, then I can go with any NVMe M.2 SSD instead.

Take this with a grain of salt, all I've done is read up on the Optane H10. It has 1TB of QLC NAND which is slower than 3D NAND found on some of the fastest nvme drives.. Add the Octane controller and it barely competes with high level 3D NAND drives. Myself, for the price of them, I'd opt for a good nvme drive with 2TB 3D NAND for the same price. Read this review- Optane H10 review and draw your own conclusions.
