I have 16 GB of optane memory and a SSD drive and my question is with the 16 GB of optane memory can I upgrade the hard drive with a slower speed SSD drive and still get all the fast benfits of a faster SSD drive with optane memory installed on my system or do I still need a fast SSD for boot up and program start up speed.

I am a bit confused here so can someone explain to me if this is a SSD Hard Drive or Memory or is it two thins built into one.
INTEL Core i5-1035 8GB Ram + 16GB Optane 256GB SSD Drive
Please do not reply with a link explaining how it work just need a simple answer if it is one product or two things.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06450024
It has 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD. Why you need Optane ? It does not have spare M.2 slot for you to install Optane anyway. Existing drive is equal or faster than Optane.
