Notebook 15-ay014dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello. The product is an HP Notebook 15-ay014dx with a freshly installed 2.5 inch WD Blue 500 GB SSD in the main/"Only" hard drive slot. I would rather install an SSD into a caddy where the current optical drive is located, however, I don't know if that's possible for this specific model (but it would be great to know). So an HDD for larger games and for photos/videos would be perfectly fine if an SSD is not possible. My question is, what are the measurements for the optical drive of this model? And, is an SSD possible in this model? Thank you for all the help in advance!

By the way, the reason I plan to install a new hard drive, besides just not enough space for many games at once, is that the more my SSD fills up the slower it gets, and I quite enjoy the change from 10-30 minute boot times (800 gb+ filled 1 TB WD Blue HDD) to my current <45 second complete restart time (from the pressing of the restart to opening Google Chrome).

It uses  Fixed, serial ATA, 9.5-mm tray load ODD. HDD/SSD on the ODD slot would not be bootable.

Regards.
