Hello,
I live in India and own HP Omen 15 5100NX which wasn't bought in India.
There is an issue with the LEFT FAN.
Since, I have bought the laptop outside India, the HP Authorized Service Centers have refused to repair the laptop as service for the laptop is NOT SUPPORTED in India.
They provided an alternative of ordering the part and then they will be able to do the replacement.

Now I have 2 questions: 

1. Is there anyway I can get the laptop repaired through any HP Authorized centers?
2. Can anyone tell me how can I get the replacement fan?

The P/N: M5M55EA#A2N; Warranty: Expired.

I understand the PC is out of warranty and you would like to know if you can get the laptop repaired India.

 

Don't worry I'd like to help you out.

 

You have to purchase a global warranty on the product to get the support. 

 

HP Global Warranty covers HP products at the level of standard warranty offered in the country in which it is used. For example, a product purchased in country "A" and moved to country "B" receives the current warranty coverage provided by country "B" (if that product is marketed or supported in country B).

 

Note: If a similar model of laptop is sold or manufactured in the present country. You will get the service options for your laptop.

Thank you for the response.

Following the link to order the parts, HP Parts Store, the page is directed towards selecting the Region / Country. There does not exist an option for India under Asia Pacific.
I found the product in other countries under the Asia Pacific region but upon selecting the shipping the address there is no option to change the country, indicating that the part will only be shipped locally to that country only. 

I tried ordering through Part Surfer as well. The page again gets redirected to HP Parts Store and the region / country required is not available.
How can I get the part to be shipped to India?

As you mentioned you don't have an option of selecting India as an option on the parts store page.

 

Also, as I mentioned in my previous post If a similar model of laptop is sold or manufactured in the present country. You will get the service options for your laptop.
