I have an hp notebook, model-15ac083tx. It only has 2.1ghz of speed. Can i overclock the cpu? Is there a specific limit provided by the manufacturer?

Yes there is software out there which can overclock a laptop processor but not recommended. You have an i3-5010U mobile processor which is designed to run on very little electricity. Overclocking generally means applying more electricity to the processor and yours is fragile and not really a good candidate for overclocking. If you think your laptop is too slow consider a solid state drive, more RAM or a new computer. I will not actually point you to overclocking software. I think probably only someone who already knows where to find such software ought to be using it.
