My HP Envy arrived less than a week ago and I've noticed that the charger tends to overheat. Just now charged it from around 15% to 97% and tried to grab the charger. 10 minutes later my finger pads still hurt because the charger was so hot and it is still oddly warm. Is this normal? It gets about this hot every time it charges. Even the cords get hot.
