Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I"ve recently been gifted 

HP ENVY 16 inch Laptop PC 16-h1000

laptop and i was very happy with it until i started doing something serious with the laptop. As i started playing games even fortnite can't be played as it gets so hot it starts burning like hell. The Temps hit easily near 100 centigrade and I don't know what to do to keep it cool. Is there way to reduce the heat instead of putting fan pad etcs at the bottom?

I would appreciate any help.
