battery not charging; computer sat mostly unused (maybe logged onto it twice in 2023 when purchased). tried using this year and the battery would not charge. sent it in for repair. it looked charged, but now that I unplug it to use it (a few months after supposed repair), the same issue is still there. but now it's out of warranty. the issue wasn't fixed, but I can't talk to anyone at HP to explain this bc the AI chat keeps telling me it's not in warranty, so I can't speak to anyone about it.

Thank you so much for responding. I have spent so much time on WhatsApp with other HP employees in other countries who only refer me back to the HP chat bot thing. The battery was repaired in March of this year; however, I could not pick the computer up until April. HP in India did remote diagnostics with me and confirmed there is a hardware issue with the battery. Sometimes it charges, sometimes it does not. It started back charging after the diagnostic stuff they did. Then it stopped again.

Hi @DEEKNIGHT ,
We apologize for the inconvenience, but it seems that the issue persists even after attempting the troubleshooting steps mentioned above.
This might require one-on-one interaction to fix the issue via remote assistance.
