The laptop crashes a lot, when does it crash:
- If I press a key on the keyboard, I'm not hitting it, I'm just gently pressing it
- During a game
- when I try to close te laptop
- When I click shut down
- Whenever I pick it up
- If it didn't crash when I picked it up, it chrashes when I slightly tilt it
- When it is booting up
To give a short summary, It crashes with almost everything. And it crashes about 5 times a day give or take.
With crashing I mean that the screen doesn't respond to anything. There's also a really loud and annoying buzzer sound when it crashes. het screen will become totally black or there are green/white, red/white, white blocks of white stripes that begin to flicker:
Can someone please tell me how to fix this. This has been going on for quite some time now and I'm starting to get really annoyed by it.

Hi@Bartje3s,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are experiencing flickering issues with the HP Gaming Pavilion and crashes.
I have a few recommendations
- Update your Notebook computer to the latest BIOS from HP.COM.
- Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
Try and check in Bios using the F10 key if the screen is flickering and has white stripes in Bios. To enter Bios, click restart and keep tapping the F10 key and then turn on the PC at the same time to enter Bios screen.
If the issue persists in Bios then it is a hardware issue on the screen.
For any hardware issue or repair please click on the link Phone Assist Worldwide
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
