Hi,
I have been facing this issue for sometime now. My PC was crashing as soon as I unplugged the charger. I thought it was a battery issue but then I ran the HP support assistant battery check which showed it was fine.
Maybe it has something to do with the recent upgrades or something in windows 10. I have attached the battery Battery from command prompt below.
Just for clarification, my PC doesnot have Intel. It has AMD A8-7410 processor and system BIOS is F.12
Please advice me regarding this.https://www.dropbox.com/s/xe014hukk27ukai/battery-report.html?dl=0

As I understand the PC powers down immediately after the charger is unplugged,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
Did you update the BIOS to resolve the issue?
Have you checked with an alternate power adapter or another battery?
While you respond to that, here's what you need to do:
- Unplug the charge and use the laptop until the battery drains to 15%.
- Turn off the laptop and turn it back on after 30mins.
- Reinstalled Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery under device manager,
- Restart the computer and the issue should be fixed.
If the issue persists, run a battery test using the HP Hardware diagnostics, while connected to the charger: Click here to know more
And if the device is still turning off suddenly, check if the device is overheating, if yes, try the steps mentioned on this link: https://hp.care/2sFzEsK
Also, check this link to resolve issues with the battery/adapter: https://hp.care/2p4e1PT
If none of the above works and the issue continues to occur, I'm afraid this could be a hardware malfunction and the best way forward is to Contact HP and have the device repaired or it's parts replaced:
HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:
* Open link: https://hp.care/2moMFSc
* Enter Product number or select to auto detect
* Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
* Scroll down and click on HP contact options - click on Get a Case & phone number.
They will be happy to assist you immediately.
If the unit is under warranty repair services under the manufacturer's warranty will be free of charge.
If you would like to thank me for my efforts to help you,
feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon below,
Followed by clicking on the "Accept as solution".
Have a great day!
