Perhaps it is just me, but I find that to be an odd question and without a stated purpose.

"that to be an odd question and without a stated purpose." Does sound weird. It is weird.
Trying to figure out how to connect a PCI expansion dock to my laptop.
Trying to read some SCSI drives pulled from an old server. Figured I would put a SCSI host adapter in the
expansion dock and connect the drive to that. Just trying to do from laptop..
I have a server, several laptops and a tower in my basement. Did not want to go down there with
a bad leg.
The PCI dock comes with a small board to plug into the PCI slot in a regular computer. Since the laptop has PCIe, I figured there must be some way to connect. If not, into the basement i go.
Thanks

The only available ports your laptop has for an external interface that could be useful are the USB 3.0 ports.
You may be able to find an adapter interface for a PCI expansion that will connect by way of the USB 3.0 ports.
I have never encountered one, but perhaps such a device exists.

The laptop includes a AC7260 Wireless that is connected to a "PCIe"port in the laptop I was thinking of replaceing that with some kind of card that would expose the PCIe bus. I will keep searching.
Thanks

My notebook 9480m has 2 places for SSD. One is an enclosure an the other (unpopulated) SSD slot.
I want to use one of these https://www.ebay.com/itm/145786169096?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.S...
Long link. Want to put this in open SSD slot and use SCSI card in external PCI slot.
This should expose the laptop PCI bus for access.
Opinions welcome.

I did find some adapters that convert the USB Type-A port to SCSI-2.
