Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought an HP Envy used and installed Windows 10 Pro. On the Device Manager under "Other Devices" the PCI Device, PCI Simple Communications Controller and other device all have a yellow exclamation mark after them. Also, the SD card reader is not working. Are these two related? How can I fix them.

Thank you!

You're very welcome.

You need this driver for the Realtek SD card reader:

Realtek USB and PCIe Media Card Reader Drivers

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp84501-85000/sp84713.exe

You need this driver for the PCI Simple Communications Controller:

Intel Management Engine Components Driver

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp74501-75000/sp74763.exe

If you have any other devices that need drivers such as 'Unknown Device,' please post the hardware IDs for those devices so I can figure out what drivers they need.

Hi:

What is the full model number or product number of your notebook?

Use this guide to find that information...

The PCI device is the Realtek SD card reader so that is why the SD card reader isn't working.
