Missing serial port driver for my Elitebook 8540w - Windowns 10 Pro 64bit - can someone help please ???

Hi:
I have zipped up and attached the driver you need below.
I pulled the driver from the W7 Intel Management Engine Interface driver from your mobile workstation's support page.
I did it because W10 installed a newer Intel Management Engine driver than this one and if you were to just run the package, you would probably get a message that states in substance that you are trying to install an older driver than the one installed...overwrite?
So, to avoid that problem, you manually install the W7 AMT driver (PCI serial port) as follows...
Download and unzip the file I attached to its folder.
Do not do anything with the files in the folder.
Go to the device manager. Click on the PCI Serial Port device needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.
Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked, and the driver should install.
