Try Intel's support assistant
HP also has a support assistant
if that does not work then the following from Windows 7: May 6, 2011 may work.

We need more information.
G7 laptop?
Take a look on the bottom of the notebook for the complete product name and product number.
Include the installed processor in your next reply.
