PCIe Location 15-DW1008ca

Hi Everyone

I'm trying to get information about How to install a SSD on this model but there isn't any manual or tutorial about this model.

I'm need the location of PCIe, if it's possible to have both HDD and SSD together or just how to install is this specific model.

On the manuals page for the model series, there is the service manual for the older dw0000 series, but it should also work for the dw1000 series as well.

Hi.

Tks a lot. I think the board is the same, or at least looks like the same!

My only concern is about the information in having both SSD and HDD at the same time. I couldn't find any pictures and I'm worried because I can't see "phisical space" for both. Also the cable doesn't have "2 connectors".

I've found this cable (I'm not sure if that is the same I alredy have once my model cames with a HDD not a SSD)

I'm not clear what you are trying to do. If you only have a hard drive then you can add an M.2 SSD. M.2 slot is up and to the right of the hard drive next to the cooling fan:

green square = Hdd red circle = M.2 slot

What else do you need to know?

That's exactly what I need to know! I can't find this slot.

The gold leads plug in at the end closer to the battery and the hole at the other end is for the mounting screw. The slot almost looks crooked in the picture but must be an illusion.
