Hi I recently updated the BIOS to f.46 of my HP ENVY x360 - 13-ag0003ng (s / n [edited]) and I noticed a slowdown in the system. I have tested the performance of the PCIe SK hynix PC401 HFS256GD9TNG-62A0A disk with CrystalDiskMark64 6.0.1 and I have detected 820 MB / s in sequential read and 780 MB / s in sequential write. Practically the speed is halved !!!!
Do any of you have any idea what might have happened? Turns out that the latest BIOS still gave this result?
Please, someone helps me.

@Davide_Rodry Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that the PCIe disk SK Hynix PC401 slow after BIOS update.
Please perform the below steps and check.
Please restart the computer and then perform the below steps.
Press the Windows key and then followed by the key "B" this time and then the power button for around 3-4 seconds, then release the power button and continue to hold windows+B for 3-4 seconds more.
Try updating the computer, this will install the latest updates -
Step 1 Windows Updates -
1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Step 2 Install updates using HP Support Assistant
- In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant.
- Check for updates.
- If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

Thanks for your kind reply.
I immediately want to clarify that the PC is completely updated through HP Support Assistant and the BIOS has also been updated through HP Support Assistant. So this is an already passed step.
I would like to ask you for clarification on the sequence of steps (Press the Windows key and then followed by the key "B" this time and then the power button for around 3-4 seconds, etc., etc.,) that he suggested me to perform:
What exactly is it for? What result would I get? When I start the sequence what should I see? Would there be many steps to take? And how should I behave at each step?
Could it be a potentially dangerous procedure?
Please help me understand so I can act safely.
Thanks again. A greeting.
Davide.

I understand your concerns.
In that case, I would suggest you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.
Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.
1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.
Have a nice day!!
