That is an option. Did you buy Fingerprint reader for your machine ? If you wish you can buy
The fingerprint reader cable is available in the Cable Kit as spare part number N01915-001. The fingerprint reader bracket is available in the Bracket Kit as spare part number N01916-001. The fingerprint reader insert (for use on models without a fingerprint reader) is available in the Plastics Kit as spare part number N00113-001.
