hi can you advise me if the replacement palmrest for HP Envy 17-J173CL 17.3" is compatible with HP ENVY 17-J141NA ?

 

Also please could someone advise me where I can source the part from?

Hi,

Yes they are the same part and have part number 720271-001

It is not available in the HP parts store. So you will need to perform an online search with part number. I see some on eBay.

Basically, you will need to remove everything from old top cover and place in new one. Here is service manual which can help:
