Product: Compaq Armada e500
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP

Please, don't consider me crazy...
I have an old Compaq Armada e500 notebook.
It was my first notebook, it still works and I love it.
I neeed to replace either the main battery and the Real Time Clock (RTC) Battery.
Where can I locate:
- the part numbers (to look for compatible items)
- the replacing procedure

Hi:

 

This is the only service manual I could find...The parts list can be found in chapter 3.

 

Removal and replacement procedures can be found in chapter 4.

Unfortunately, I would have no idea where you can find/buy replacement parts.
