Good day all,

Recently, the touchpad on my Pavilion 15-EC1073 started flaking out - cursor jumps and clicks at random while simply dragging my finger across the touchpad.

 

I have rebooted and tried the hardware diagnostics during system startup as well as reverting to an older driver.  While the behavior seems to have improved, it still acts up.

 

I found P/N L72709-001 as the P/N for the replacement but no one (in the US) seems to have stock - HP themselves included!

 

Anyone out there know of another compatible part?  Maybe one that has actual buttons?
