Hello All,
   
I have an older laptop, Pavilion 15t-cs200, with a USB 3.1 Gen1 Type C port (data transfer only). I am looking to get a docking station/docking hub to allow for dual monitors and give me access to addition ports. All the docking station options I an seeing have power pass-through. Can I use these docking stations on my older laptop without causing any damage? Or will I need to somehow find a docking station that does not have power passthrough?
Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
