Microsoft Windows 11

Installed a new 2TB Segate Baracuda SATA 2.5" drive in the dummy caddy to use as a secondary drive (in addition to the 500GB SSD it came with). Made sure the ribbon cable (originaly attatched to the dummy) was secure. I can't get the laptop to see it. I've checked the BIOS, but unless I'm looking in the wrong place, it only sees the original SSD. I checked diskmgmt.msc, but Windows 11 doesn't even see it at all.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Have you tried going to a command line(admin) and using DiskPart?
