Pavilion dv7t-7000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After upgrading my Pavilion dv7t-7000 from Windows 7 to Windows 10 the SD card reader (Realtek PCIe Media Card Reader) stopped working. After a fair amount of research I found a solution right here in the community in the archived topic "SD Card not reading" originally posted on 02-20-2016. The solution that worked for me was posted to that thread by @Paul_Tikkanen (Thanks Paul!). He supplied an ftp link to a driver for the Realtek PCIe Media Card Reader for a newer HP notebook. I did a little more research and discovered that a newer driver superseded that one a couple of weeks after his post, so I downloaded that driver and installed it. My SD card reader works now!

Because I couldn't add anything to the archived topic I've reposted this information here to make it easier for other Pavilion dv7t owners to find the latest information on this. Probably works for other models which have the same SD reader. Below is the ftp link to the HP driver repository for that later driver.
