Product: HP Pavilion g6-1310se Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello, so I have recently been given a Pavilion G6 that I really want to upgrade the CPU again and make it Intel Core I7, but I am aware with laptops that the chipsets are usually pretty picky on what they like. I have already taken the laptop apart, so I'm not sure of all the specs, but here's roughly what I know and I hope it can determine what's compatible:

 

CPU: Intel core I3 upgraded to Intel core I5, Intel HD graphics 3000, PPGA988, socket G2

RAM: Was 4gb, upgraded to 8gb by adding another 4gb stick

OS: windows 7 64bit
