Hi Everyone,
Recently I purchased a x360 and i'm planning an upgrade for it. I can see that there is another place for the ram and i could do the change but i couldn't find any official information aboud any possible loss of guarantee if i open it up. Contacted the support line but they couldn't add any relevant info but the official service who works for double price plus tax and labor.
So can someone help me with this question? Much appreciated!

Hi
IMPORTANT: Components described in this chapter should only be accessed by an authorized service
provider. Accessing these parts can damage the computer or void the warranty.

If there are any changes / damage and the PC is not to the original spec then the warranty may be voided because the failure of a component could be disputed as to whether it was manufacture or meddling.
Hence a quote for an authorised service provider to do the work I guess.
