Hello I've looked and searched for usb type c and type a specs for my laptop. As I'm looking into purchasing a RJ-45 to usb connector to plug in an ethernet connection. My laptop doesn't have an ethernet connection so that's how I would have to do it. Type C to RJ-45 is the fastest obviously but I still wanted to know the specs of the usb's themselves on that laptop. All the old spec sheets are no longer available. Please help if you can, thank you!

Here is the Service Manual:

A USB 3.0 to RJ-45 adapter can provide full gigabit ethernet speed so really you can use either a USB-C or USB-A to gigabit ethernet adapter.

USB 3.0 (Superspeed) can transfer at up to 5 Gbit/s so 5 times faster than gigabit 1 Gbit/s ethernet. There is such a thing as 10 Gbit/s ethernet but most networks do not have routing equipment that will support that speed. Internet speeds are much lower than Gbit/s.
