Pavilion X360 M Convertible
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I purchased the HP Pavillion x360 from BestBuy about a 15 months ago and just recently the bottom right corner of the screen popped out while simply opening the laptop.  A plastic tab that is supposed to hold the screen in place is now visible and two screws came out.   The computer functions, but I'm not closing it anymore and will not be able to travel with it, if needed.

I'm surprised at the quality issue I'm having.  This is my backup laptop and is only used maybe 10 times per month.  It is very odd that a physical problem would occur.  Unfortunately for me, the manufacture's 1-year warranty expired just a couple months ago as I just found the receipt to verify and I did not purchase an extended warranty through Bestbuy.

Will HP stand behind their products and honor their warranty a few months late?  The product was not dropped or abused in any way shape or form.  It was simply a failure of the structural components that was not able to withstand normal and gentle use for a year.  If not, is there a video on how to repair the screen myself?

@tstayin Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that the laptop screen is popped out.

In that case, I would suggets you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

Or you can contact the local service center for repair.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.
