Hi there,

 

this should hopefully be a quick question(s), I used the search but coudn't find a clear answer. I am aware of the nonecc, unbuffered and sodimm, i just found contradicting infos and those two details:

 

A) Can a 15-ay167sa have 16GB, as in 2 sticks with each 8GB?

B) Do those have to be 2133Mhz or can it be 2400Mhz?

Hi:

 

Yes to both questions.

 

The PC4-2400 memory will downclock to 2133 MHz because that is the fastest speed the processor can run the memory at.
