looking for advice on battery life. My current battery won't go above 34%-its time to replace it. Instead of pulling the bottom and seeing the battery model number, a quick google search shows a few different models. SE03XL, TF03XL, HT03xl, and BI03XL. which one will provide the longest life before dying. Any help would be appreciated.

The specs of your machine is

It uses 3-cell, 52.5 Wh Li-ion battery part # L08855-856. You can order from (please keep or bookmark the link for future references)

Or use part # to buy online elsewhere, for example

so, lets assume when i pulled the cover off and got the serial/model number of the battery, after a google search, I find a battery that was supposedly longer battery time. serial number is SR04XL, it fits perfectly, but when I turned the laptop on, the screen told me I needed to have an operating system before running. So, I then put the old battery back in, since it works, but only charges to 34%, and i get the same message. Is that a battery issue or did I unplug something accidently when switching batteries?
