Hello everyone,
Firstly, thank you to everyone who take the time to read this, and especially to those who feel so inclined, for all the knowledge you share. Now to the nitty gritty, I have a HP Pavilion X360 2-in-1 model M1X24UA, (11-k120NR) and the bios chip is toast. Everything else in the laptop is pretty much new so its still a great little computer and works perfectly for my motorcycle shop.
I have been trying to download the service manual from various posts on here and even the main support page but I end up getting a error. If someone has the service manual and can post it here or even just a screenshot of the pages about the motherboard options (I think its located somewhere around page 50) it would be immensly appreciated. Thank you for your time and have a great day.
With regards and respect,
Jonathon Bell (JB)

Hi:
The service manual on your notebook's support page indicates that it is for the HP x360 310 G2, so my assumption is that your notebook shares some of the same parts as that one.
HP Pavilion x360 - 11-k120nr (ENERGY STAR) - Setup and User Guides | HP® Support
The user guides page and manual links work fine for me so if you still can't access the above site, I have attached it below.
Chapter 3 has the list of supported motherboards with their HP part numbers.
If you look at chapter 3 of the manual, there are two lists of motherboards, and it appears your notebook uses the first list and not the list where it indicates the motherboards are for use in the HP x360 310 G2 models.
It appears that you will have to replace the existing motherboard with the same part number as it was the best one that HP offered in your notebook's model series.
