Product: HP Pavilion Power Laptop 15-cb0xxX
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have this problem: my notebook turns off (without low battery warning) when the battery charge is at 16%. Battery age is 865 days, after 101/1000 charge cycles.

You have to change Notification option. Please try

 

  (a) Right click battery icon,

  (b) Select Power options,

  (c) Select Change Plan settings (for current plan) ,

  (d) Select Change Advanced Power settings, you should see something,

 

       power settings.png

 

  (e) Now you can change many options to suite your need and REMEMBER click Apply before go out.
