Hello
I have a damaged pc and can't turn it on. I don't know if my new ram caused the issue or not. I bought a 16gb ram 3200 mhz and installed it in one slot. My pc supports 2400 mhz but nevertheless my new ram was running fine for 5 or 4 months. (Note: I also don't use battery. I use the power cable directly.) Until one day I used a cable of stereo just to play music and once I plugged the cable, then the pc completely turned off. When I turned the pc, the fan started for seconds and then stopped and nothing happened but the pc being turned off. That was in the beginning, now even the fan is not starting. I think it was a voltage shortage or something. I want to know what was the problem and could it be the new ram I installed? I don't know which exact part of the pc was damaged or if the whole motherboard was damaged. What do you think?
My product number is 1hf08ea. I have hp 15 ay055nk, uma i3 6006u. Part number: 909168-001
(Note: the pdf manual says 8gb * 2, but I have installed 16gb in one slot, could that be another problem? See the picture)
