HP Laptop PC 15-dw3000 (1A3X9AV)

    Hi,

I upgraded my SSD in my laptop. It's WD SN 770 1TB SSD that can benefit from PCI-e 4.0 Its read/write speeds are beyond 5000 Mb/s which surpasses PCI-e 3.0 bandwidth.

Also, beginning with 11th gen Core CPUs, Intel added PCI-e 4.0 support. But my issue starts here. My new SSD is working on PCI-e 3.0. I did some storage benchmarks and it didn't pass 3000Mb/s read/write speeds. I think the NVMe PCI-e port connects to the Platform Controller Hub (PCH) rather than the CPU. CPU is PCI-e 4.0 capable but PCH only supports 3.0

Is there a way for the NVMe slot to connect directly to the CPU PCI-e controller? Maybe a BIOS update
