HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-eu0000 (267R8AV)

The rubber feet on my HP envy x360 15-eu0000 are peeling within two years. Its pretty hard to find ways to actually contact support when the HP official warrany has run out, which only last one year.  So I am writing in the forum instead. According to EU and Swedish law products that turns out to be defective within two years are entitled to have their product: repaired, replaced, have the price reduced or cancel/reimburse the purchase.

I want new rubber feet to be sent to me or have my laptop fixed free of charge.

I sent in my PC for repair and the first impression was very good. HP support handled everything and I was able to receive a box and send away the laptop the same day, everything would be free and covered by the warranty. But after the third-party repair workshop it was sent to started the repairs the experience changed.

7th December 2022 UPS picked up and sent away my laptop.

8th December the laptop was delivered to the Swedish workshop.

9th December it was sent to Norway.

12th December it arrived at the Norwegian workshop and a technician ordered a trackpad that arrived 19th December.

27th December another technician was then assigned and ordered the backplate. The same day I received an SMS notifying that the repair would take longer than expected because slow delivery of spare parts. That spare part arrived three days later on 30th December.  The SMS was sent at the exact time when the HP support closed. After checking the repair status that day they also uploaded a picture which shows damage on my laptop. I instantly emailed HP support after the SMS and wrote that the workshop damaged my laptop.

28th December HP support told me they would check with the workshop to see what happened. That day I also checked with UPS to see if they noted any transport damage, which they didn't.

29th December I personally emailed the workshop and asked about the damage.

30th December HP support told me they still have no response from the workshop.

5th January 2023 the repair was completed.

9th January I emailed HP support and asked how long the repair would take and if I could receive a replacement if the laptop was damaged under repair or took too long time to repair.

I have still not received my laptop back a month after sending it away and the workshop has not replied back. The HP support has also not responded after 24 hours. Although most of this is not HPs fault, I still expect them to respond and solve the issues for me.  The workshop HP sent my laptop to is called Elcare Nordic, also known as Infocare Nordic and Electrocare Nordic. The reviews on the workshop also vary from a few good ones to a lot of very bad ones. Many bad reviews has also been removed by the company. According to the Swedish consumer law, things must be repaired within a reasonable time, laptops should be repaired within 2-3 weeks.

I have pictures before I sent in the laptop and it did not have any damages. I also tried shaking the box after packing it and the laptop was not moving inside. It is probably in worse condition now after the repair compared to when I sent it in. They are also replacing the whole backplate when its only the rubber feet that are loose.

My laptop was finally sent 11th January and arrived 13th January. HP Support also finally responded 13th January.

My laptop looks mostly fine, the workshop seems to have replaced most things that they damaged, the thing is just that the rubber feet are not properly attached, they are more loose now compared to when I sent it in.

There is also something loose inside the laptop and a loud bang could be heard when it is turned on, so I no longer feel safe using it.

I am not sure if it is a short circuit or the fan hitting an object. The fans were spinning and sounded normal for a few seconds before the loud bang. I instantly turned off the laptop after that and haven't touched it since.
