Product: HP Z2 Tower G9 Workstation Desktop PC (4Y0H8AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Hi,
we recently purchased some Z2 G9 workstations for use with Solidworks 3d modeling software.
These machines had issues from the start, not being able to use the performance cores at all.
Some of these had major issues with CPU cooling as well.
Running the latest benchmarks, the machines performed better when swapping the shipped Nvidia RTX A2000 card with a 5-year old Nvidia Quadro P2000.
Are these machines engineered this way ? To me it seems this might be a cause for returning the computers, as they do not perform as advertized.
Any fixes, tweaks to limit bottlenecks \ hardware issues ?
