Product: Envy X360
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a new Envy X360 laptop. I have an external hard drive that the PC keeps disconnecting, and I have to unplug and replug the power to the external drive in order for the PC to recognize it.

Looks like your external HDD requires power to wake up and USB port on your machine does not have enough power. Can your external HDD use USB power ONLY ? Or can it always on (no sleep) ?
