HP 250 G4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone. I'm planning to upgrade my ram. My laptop is HP 250 G4 (Celeron N3050). Is it upgradable? If it's possible what is the maximum RAM for this?

Hi,

Max RAM for the notebook is 8GB of DDR3L 1600MHz

There is one slot, so if you have a 4GB module you would need to replace with a 8GB module.

Ex:

https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp-compaq/hp-250-g4-(celeron-pentium-n)#memory

On page 46 of service manual you can see the steps to upgrade the RAM

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04653884

You could also replace the Hard Drive and insert a cheap SATA3 SSD such as the 2.5" Crucial BX500 or similar. It should give a boost to everyday performance.

Hope it helps,

David
