I have a HP Pavilion x360. The plastic frame that goes around the screen (and is part of the top/front of the laptop) has cracked slightness, allowing the bottom left corner of the screen to pop out. Everything seems to be fine otherwise ( the screen still works, and I can pop the screen back in), however I'm concerned that the crack will only grow bigger and eventually expose parts of the laptop. I've had the laptop for a little under two years. I haven't ever dropped it, and kept it safe inside it's case. I'm scared to close the laptop because then I would have to open it, and I'd have to hold down the corner to keep it from cracking more.
I can see why the crack appeared where it did. It is due to opening the laptop, which put pressure on the sides of the frame by the hinges, causing the crack. I'm upset because I love this laptop, and I bought it to last. Can this problem be fixed?
