Hi @CandyDemon

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

The Play Store may not be available on your Chromebook because your device might not support Android apps, or the feature hasn't been enabled yet.

Here’s a breakdown of what could be happening and how to check:

1. Your Chromebook Might Not Support the Play Store

Not all Chromebooks are compatible with Android apps. To check if your model supports the Play Store:

If your model isn’t listed, unfortunately, the Play Store won’t be available on that device.

2. The Play Store Might Be Disabled

If your Chromebook does support Android apps, the Play Store may simply be turned off. To enable it:

  1. Click the time in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
  2. Select the Settings gear icon.
  3. Scroll down to Apps and click Google Play Store.
  4. If it’s available, click Turn on and follow the prompts.

If you don’t see the Play Store option at all, it’s likely your device isn’t supported or it’s managed by an administrator (such as in schools or businesses).

3. Try Restarting Your Chromebook

Sometimes a simple restart can help the Play Store appear if it was recently enabled or updated.

Let me know your Chromebook model if you’d like help checking compatibility directly.
